Low winter dazzling sun
This photograph was taken at 9am in the morning
In the Winter our days are short and the Sun is low in the sky.
Between the 21st September and 21st December the Sun is at it's lowest point.
It can be very difficult to view the road ahead especially if the road is wet as the Sun will
reflect off the road into your line of view and can temporally dazzle you.
Even if the road is dry it can still be difficult to see.
Use your sun-visor or sun glasses and try and anticipate the low sun when turning a corner or rounding a bend etc...
If the glare of the sun is not in your line, it may well be in the line of the oncoming traffic and they
might have difficulty seeing you!
so consider this also.
